Beyblade Tournaments Australia

SEQ Teams League

Bey Team Ouroboros has started a teams league! This will be a long-term ladder competition run as an extra event at regular tournaments. Battle alongside your friends to become number 1!

Teams League Rules

Teams

Teams can be made up of 2-4 people. While matches can only be played by teams of two or three, four players may be included in the roster to compensate for teams who's members cannot consistently attend tournaments.

A team's members may change, but at least two members must remain the same between matches to be considered the same team.

Ladder

Each team will start on the bottom rung of the ladder.

The ladder will be split into tiers, with one rung on the top tier, two rungs on the second tier, three rungs on the third tier, and so on. The ladder will expand as teams fill it.

A team may challenge any team on their tier or the tier above them to a match.

If they win, they will move to the rung above the team they defeated.

If they lose, they cannot challenge the same team again until they challenge another team.

Matches

Matches can be played with teams of 2 or 3.

Each player uses a deck of 3 beyblades. There can be no repeating parts in a deck, but there can be repeating parts in a team.

Sets played are 3on3, first to 5 points.

Each team decides their order, then plays their sets one after the other. Once all players have played a set, the team that scored the most cumulative points wins the match. In the event of a tie, each team will select a blader to play a tiebreaker set.

Once per set, a player can tag in their teammate for one battle. Tags occur after the beys for a battle are revealed. The teammate can use any bey from their deck.

When taking place at a gimmick event, the matches will incorporate the gimmick if applicable.

Special conditions may be proposed for a match (e.g. using a gimmick) but if the opponent doesn't agree then normal rules will be used.
