Beyblade Tournaments Australia

This tournament will use the X Legacy format. This is a limited format in development by Seattle Beyblade and others from the WBO which aims to invoke the “feeling” of the pre-PhoenixWing/UX era of Beyblade X. Go here for the banlist used for this event, and here for the format discussion thread.

Tournament starts at 1:30PM, late arrivals will not be able to compete.

• Tournament Type: Group round robin. Double elimination finals bracket.

Metal Fight Tournament

At this event we will be holding a Metal Fight side event.

Format: Metal Fight Limited

Match Type: 3on3, First to 3

Rulebook: WBO + our usual instant finish rule (Find the Metal Fight Limited banlist and restrictions in the rulebook)

In order to limit delays to the main event, the group stage of this event will be judgeless, players will find matches and report scores on their own, however they can ask a free player to act as judge if they wish.

Midfakes may be used in this event, though fakes are banned. If you are unsure of what you have, feel free to ask in our discord server.

Juniors Tournament

There will be a Juniors tournament for kids 12 and under run at the same time as the main tournament. This is optional and kids may still join the main tournament if they wish. However you may only join one of the tournaments. If not enough kids show up (at least 5), they will be entered into the main tournament.

Part Bans

The blade Aero Pegasus is banned at this event because it is too inaccessible.

The blades Wizard Rod/Wand Wizard and Silver Wolf are banned for Juniors tournaments.

The bit Metal Needle is banned at all our events because it can damage stadiums.

Other Info

We'll be upstairs in the Oldfield room. As this is upstairs it's not wheelchair accessible unfortunately.

The tournament is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

There will be an area for casual play, for while you're waiting your turn in the tournament, or if you're not interested in competitive play.

I will be lending out some beyblades for those without, or those with a very limited selection. But you are encouraged to buy your own - buyer's guide here.

If your young children are attending, I cannot be responsible for their safety, please ensure that they are accompanied by a guardian if they cannot take care of themselves.
