Beyblade Tournaments Australia

Nationals Format - Beyblade X @ CTC Games

For this tournament we are bringing the Nationals to QLD! The Beyblade X World Championship has been announced and the Australian qualifiers are happening at the end of the month. To give our bladers a chance to prepare we will be running a tournament using the same rules that will be used in Sydney, this means:

  • 1on1 match type, First to 4 points.
  • Hasbro stadiums, launchers, and beys only (or their TT equivalents). See this list for allowed equipment, any colour variations of the parts listed will be allowed at this event.
  • Following the official rulebook.
    • No stadium flipping.
    • Instant finishes are valid, including launching directly into the pocket (Mid-air contact still results in a redo).
    • Getting knocked out of the top of the stadium is a redo.
    • You may not request a relaunch.
  • The ban on the Metal Needle bit will remain in place.

Because we don't want to subject you to too much of this format, we will be running it as a quick single elimination tournament before returning our usual rules and format, but remaining in the Hasbro stadium and limited to Hasbro parts

Tournament starts at 12:30PM, late arrivals will not be able to compete.

Tournament Details

  • Match Type: 3on3, First to 7 points
  • Juniors Match Type: 1on1, First to 4 points
  • Tournament Type: Group round robin. Double elimination finals bracket.

Prizes

  • First Place Prize:
  • $10 store credit

Juniors Tournament

There will be a Juniors tournament for kids 12 and under run at the same time as the main tournament. This is optional and kids may still join the main tournament if they wish. However you may only join one of the tournaments.

The Juniors tournament will use the regular ruleset.

Part Bans

The blade Aero Pegasus is banned at this event because it is too inaccessible.

The blades Wizard Rod/Wand Wizard and Silver Wolf are banned for Juniors tournaments.

The bit Metal Needle is banned at all our events because it can damage stadiums.

Other Info

The tournament is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

There will be an area for casual play, for while you're waiting your turn in the tournament, or if you're not interested in competitive play.

I will be lending out some beyblades for those without, or those with a very limited selection. But you are encouraged to buy your own - buyer's guide here.

If your young children are attending, I cannot be responsible for their safety, please ensure that they are accompanied by a guardian if they cannot take care of themselves.

If you're new to Beyblade X, and want to learn more, this video provides a quick rundown on how the game works.
