Shift + Title Match - Beyblade X @ CTC Games
- Location: CTC Games Sumner
- Organiser: BEY TEAM OUROBOROS
- Entry fee: $5
Come along to our fortnightly Beyblade X tournament at CTC Games! For this tournament we will be using a new match type called Shift, created by caz! In Shift you can swap parts between your combos during the battle, giving you opportunities to counter your opponent in new ways. On top of this, this will be our first tournaments since the release of the new CX system, and we will have more ways to adapt and customise than ever before.
We will also be holding a title match at this tournament! Will caz be able to hold on to the championship title, or will you become the next Eternal Dragon? Everyone has a chance to compete, so sign up here to go in the running.
Tournament starts at 12:30PM, late arrivals will not be able to compete.
Shift Match Type Rules
- Matches use the regular 3on3 match type.
- At the start of each battle, after showing your opponent your bey, you may swap one part of your bey with a part from another bey in your deck.
- You can only swap parts with beys that haven't been used in this reshuffle (you cannot swap parts on the third bey).
- Swaps are permanent and are not reverted at the end of the battle or reshuffle.
- If you are using CX blades, you may choose whether to swap the whole blade or just one part.

There will be an area for casual play, for while you're waiting your turn in the tournament, or if you're not interested in competitive play.
I will be lending out some beyblades for those without, or those with a very limited selection. But you are encouraged to buy your own - buyer's guide here.
If your young children are attending, I cannot be responsible for their safety, please ensure that they are accompanied by a guardian if they cannot take care of themselves.
