    Come along to our fortnightly Beyblade X Limited tournament at Dragon's Gate Gaming!

    At this event we will be trialling a modified version of counter battle, see details below.

    X Limited bans blades that are too heavy, wide, or strong, making it viable to use many of the blades that are otherwise too underpowered. If you're interested in the approach taken in creating the banlist or why each blade was added, read the document from Seattle Beyblade.

    This tournament is limited to 24 players! Make sure you sign up to secure your spot.

    The tournament starts at 6:30PM, late arrivals will not be able to compete.

    Tournament Details

    Rulebook: WBO Beyblade X Rules
    Match Type: Modified Counter Battle, 7-Point Match.
    Tournament Type: Group round robin. Double elimination finals bracket.
    Challonge

    This event will use a modified version of Counter Battle. When counter is declared, the winner of the previous battle cannot use the same bey again and must select one of the other beys in their deck. As a result, at least 2 beys are required for this battle type.

    Optional rules:
    1 - Registered deck list [Finals]
    4 - Out-of-bounds finish [2 points]
    5 - Painted blades allowed
    7 - Swap positions after battle (Rotate stadium)

    Custom rule: Launching directly into the over or Xtreme zone will be considered a launch error.

    Part Bans

    The bit Metal Needle is banned at all our events because it can damage stadiums.

    1st place - $20 store credit

    The tournament is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

    I will be lending out some beyblades for those without, or those with a very limited selection. But you are encouraged to buy your own - buyer's guide here.

    If your young children are attending, I cannot be responsible for their safety, please ensure that they are accompanied by a guardian if they cannot take care of themselves.
